What’s Up for February from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory?
This February NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, celebrate the 400th anniversary of Galileo’s first telescopic view of Jupiter and its 4 largest moons. On January 7, 1610, in Padua, Italy, Galileo Galilei looked up above the constellation Orion and aimed his telescope at the planet Jupiter, which was near Orion that night.
