Money folding – Origami by Won Park

An US dollar

The origin of origami is unclear. There is general belief that most of the modern developments in origami occurred in Japan; however, there have also been independent paper-folding traditions in China much earlier and in Germany and Spain, among other places. It is unclear whether these traditions evolved separately or had a common source.

Many thanks to Carrie for sending these images to us.
