China’s economy has bounced back from the global financial crisis, expanding 8.9 per cent in the third quarter, the envy of the world, leading the global recovery, or so goes conventional thinking.
But China’s success is largely due to two main reasons: massive government stimulus and banks that are lending money to just about anyone and any business.
